Tonight's program welcomes May Day, a celebration time for international working people and Mother Earth's spring: featuring: News Headlines from the Americas; Radio Cuba Canta with historic Cuban music recordings and commentary, poetic commentary on the upcoming racial-profiling legislation in Arizona, Ecology, Streets of Aztlan and a calendar of upcoming events. Our guest tonight, Ned Sublette is a musician and music scholar who will share his music and insights.

Author and Cuban music scholar Ned Sublette will be performing at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts on May 2, 2010.
