La Raza Chronicles greets the inauguration of President Obama with hopes for dramatic changes to take this nation from empire to democracy. Tonight's program includes Headlines from the Americas, the Streets of Aztlan, an interview with guest Saul Landau on 50 years of the Cuban Revolution, an interview with Randy Shaw about his new book, "Beyond the Fields: Cesar Chavez, the UFW, and the Struggle for Justice in the 21st Century", and a special focus on Latino health and policy. We drive through the Streets of Aztlan rushing towards the solstice with musica, poesia and a calendar of upcoming events.
